ACD 47th Annual Scientific
Our Dermatologists will be attending the 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Clinical Associate Professor Stephen Shumack will be opening the conference as the current President of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He will chair the first session on Genetic Disorders, HIV Dermatology and the Addiction of Tanning. Dr Jo-Ann See will be chairing two breakfast sessions. The first on acne treatments and the second on pre-cancer treatments.
Photo Dynamic Therapy
Dr Jo-Ann See has just chaired the Australian Consensus meeting for photodynamic therapy of precancerous solar keratosis. This treatment hopefully will be a future treatment for pre-cancers of the face and scalp rather than liquid nitrogen.
Conference Update
Associate Professor Stephen Shumack has just attended the American Academy of Dermatology scientific meeting, in Denver Colorado. This is one of the largest and most informative meetings in the dermatology world.
